U.S. Treasury described Yan as part of an international synthetic-opioid trafficking effort, stating that Zheng and Yan shipped hundreds of packages of synthetic opioids to the United States, marketed online, and used commercial mail carriers to smuggle drugs into the U.S. (home.treasury.gov)
