SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.)

Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) is an American private aerospace manufacturer, space-transportation services company, and communications company. It was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk with the stated goal of reducing space transportation costs and enabling the long-term colonization of Mars.

SpaceX designs, manufactures, and launches rockets and spacecraft. It is best known for developing the Falcon family of launch vehicles and the Dragon spacecraft, and for pioneering large-scale reusability of orbital-class rocket boosters through the recovery and refurbishment of Falcon 9 first stages. SpaceX also develops Starship, a fully reusable launch system intended for high-capacity missions to Earth orbit, the Moon, and Mars.

In addition to launch services, SpaceX operates Starlink, a satellite internet constellation providing broadband connectivity via a large network of satellites in low Earth orbit.
