Ngzhang (张楠赓) is a notable figure in the early Bitcoin mining industry. He is best known as a co-founder of Canaan Creative and a driving force behind the Avalon project, which produced the first widely publicized ASIC Bitcoin miners. The Avalon initiative began circa 2012–2013, with Ngzhang collaborating with Yifu Guo and later transferring leadership of the Avalon efforts to Canaan Creative around 2014.
