House Tully of Riverrun is one of the Great Houses of Westeros, ruling the Riverlands from the seat Riverrun. Its sigil depicts a leaping silver trout on a split blue and mud-red field, and its words are Family, Duty, Honor. Historically, the Tullys held the lordship of Riverrun and served as Lords Paramount of the Trident. The head of the house is traditionally the Lord of Riverrun (the current line being Edmure Tully, who is, at the present story moment, a captive), with key cadet branches and sworn houses supporting their rule. Notable members include Hoster Tully (the late lord who was Lord Paramount of the Trident), Catelyn Stark (née Tully) and Lysa Arryn (daughters), and Brynden Tully, known as the Blackfish.
